Applications are open for the inaugural cohort of VETS Academy — a free, cohort-based business incubator for veterans and entrepreneurs building businesses in Roseville, California, run by the Veteran Entrepreneur Tribe of Sacramento (VETS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Build the business. Build the momentum. Over six Saturday training sessions at the Roseville Venture Lab, participants develop a personalized business plan, sales and marketing methodology, and operational systems — then continue with bi-monthly mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and industry experts well beyond the classroom. What the program includes: • Deep-dive training sessions with an action-oriented curriculum built to produce tangible outcomes • 10 months of mentorship (November 2026 – August 2027) • Capital opportunity • A powerful network of veteran business owners and local entrepreneurs • Direct access to instructors and subject matter experts Key dates: • Applications open: August 20 – September 20, 2026 • Acceptance letters: September 25, 2026 • Training: October 3 – November 14, 2026 (Saturdays, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM PST, Roseville Venture Lab) • Mentorship: November 2026 – August 2027 Cost: Free to participants. At this time VETS Academy is exclusively available to veterans and entrepreneurs building businesses in Roseville, CA. Applications close September 20, 2026 — apply before the deadline.
