13 Souls Run — Folsom

Join Team RWB and Veterans of California for the 13 Souls Run, a 1.3-mile honor run and walk remembering the 13 brave American service members whose lives were tragically taken during the Abbey Gate bombing in Kabul, Afghanistan on August 26, 2021 — and the many others forever changed that day. Silver Star Mom Tiffany Andrews and friends will be joining us, along with members of our Folsom veterans organizations. The 1.3-mile distance carries the memory of all 13 souls, one tenth of a mile for each life lost. This is a moment to show your respect for the fallen, your love for your country and those who serve, and most importantly to keep alive the memories of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. What to know: • 1.3 miles — run, jog, or walk at any pace. All ages and abilities welcome. • Free to participate. Registration is NOT required — anyone can show up. • Meet at Karen's Bakery, 705 Gold Lake Dr, Folsom, CA 95630. • Arrive a few minutes early to gather with the group before step off at 8:00 AM. Honor their sacrifice. Carry their legacy.
