Stacey is facing the fight of her life with stage 4 cervical cancer. She is undergoing chemotherapy and radiation every day and is no longer able to work. Even through the weight loss, hair loss, and physical toll of treatment, she continues to meet each day with courage and a positive attitude.

A family that has served

Her husband, Aaron, has been her devoted and loving partner for 23 years. He has spent most of their marriage serving on active duty in the United States Army and continues serving today. Veterans of California founder Nick Busse personally knows Aaron and the devotion this family has shown to our nation and their community. They truly represent what it means to be an American family committed to service, love, and perseverance.

Why help is needed now

With Stacey unable to work, bills are continuing to build while the family also faces another move. The normal assistance channels they approached, including Susan G. Komen and the American Cancer Society, have been unable to help. Support will help with added treatment, medication, transportation, and living expenses so Stacey can focus on her health and Aaron can remain beside her while continuing his Army service.
